Members can add a single video from Instagram, YouTube, or Vimeo to any artwork or portfolio page, and on your Resume / CV. Edit the artwork or portfolio page to add the video ID.
Artwork Detail Page Edit Screen
Note to Videographers: Artrepreneur is primarily a platform for still images and animated GIFs, but not video. However, Members can add a video to their artwork detail pages but must first upload a still image, or animated GIF of their work first. Then you can edit the artwork to attach the video sample. Note that we may not have a category or subcategory to fit your video genre.
Finding Your Video IDs:
Instagram Video ID
You can get an ID for videos that have been shared publicly. If an account is set to private, you won't be able to copy a link to any of their posts.
To get a link to a video post in the Instagram app, tap above the post and then tap Copy Share URL. The link will be saved to your clipboard. Paste the link into Safari or Notes. It will look like http://instagram.com/p/BOXgWecAYgX/. The part of the URL in bold is the ID you need.
You can also get the link by viewing the post on the web. To get a URL from the web, open a browser and go to https://instagram.com/username (ex: if the username is "johnsmith," go to https://instagram.com/johnsmith). Click the post you want to get the link to and copy the link at the top of your browser. The last part of the URL (ex. http://instagram.com/p/BOXgWecAYgX/) contains the ID.
YouTube Video ID
First, go to the YouTube webpage. Look at the URL of that page, and at the end of it, you should see a combination of numbers and letters after an equal sign (=). This is the ID you need to enter into Artrepreneur. (ex. http://youtube.com/watch?v=FDSxxSDASd)
Vimeo Video ID?
First, go to the Vimeo webpage. Look at the URL of that page, and at the end of it, you should see a combination of numbers at the end of the web address. This is the ID you need to enter into Artrepreneur. (ex. http://vimeo.com/196277011)
