Your overall profile, artwork, and portfolios can each have a custom friendly URL.
Profile URL: When you join Artrepreneur, you have the option of customizing your URL during the Jumpstart process as shown below. If you didn't customize your URL during the jumpstart or merely wish to change it again, you can do so on your resume edit screen.
Artwork URL: After adding your artwork, you will be redirected to your Artwork Detail Page's edit screen, (or by clicking on any of your artworks and then clicking "Edit."
You can then add your customized URL in the field provided, as seen below.
Note that URLs cannot have spaces and certain special characters are not allowed. If your URL includes spaces or certain special characters, an error message will be displayed. The issue must be corrected before you will be allowed to save it. If the URL is already in use by another member, you will also see an error message. Change the URL to a unique one before saving.
Portfolio URL: When creating a portfolio, you will have the option of creating a custom URL. If you wish to change the URL after the portfolio has already been created, just go to its "edit" screen.
Customizing portfolio URLs can be very useful when sending portfolio to a prospective client or when applying for jobs. On Artrepreneur, you can create an unlimited number of portfolios. You can create individual portfolios for each client specific works, titles descriptions, and URLs that target that portfolio to the specific needs of the client or company.
However, in order to ensure that your profile isn't cluttered with too many portfolios or to ensure that only specific people can view them, you can hide the portfolios, as shown below. This will remove portfolios from Artrepreneur's portfolio search, indexing by public search engines and on your portfolio and resume page. ONLY THOSE WHO HAVE THE URL can view the portfolio.
All the portfolios will be available on your "View my Portfolios" page. You can change the view to see only public, hidden or both, by selecting the appropriate item in the dropdown menu, as shown below.
