Pricing your work can be difficult, especially if you haven't sold many works. There are so many factors involved and a multitude of methods artists use that it can be overwhelming. Yet, accurate pricing can make the difference between making a sale or the potential buyer moving on to another artist.
Inaccurate or inflated pricing can also erode the overall confidence in the buyer's coming to purchase works on our platform so prices on any work added to the Artrepreneur Marketplace must be an accurate reflection of its market value.
We suggest looking at artists on Artrepreneur, or other sites, with the same style, level of expertise, dimensions, and personal background as your own as a guide. Also, check out some of the articles on Art Business Journal or download our eBook, "How to Sell Art Like an Artrepreneur" for tips on pricing your work.
If we believe artwork is priced at a level inconsistent with the market value or added for reasons other than a genuine attempt to sell the artwork on Artrepreneur, the work may be removed. In certain cases, we may request additional documentation to verify its value, such as an appraisal or proof that similar works created by the artist sold at a comparable price.
A determination of accurate pricing and removal of any artwork on the Artrepreneur Marketplace is at our sole discretion.
